Minority Business Coordinator: Developed and administered the
MBE Program and an extensive six week Contractor's College. The
curricula for the Contractors were inclusive of training in:
Scheduling, Estimating, Marketing, Contracts, Designs and
Accounting-Bonding. the classes were developed to solidify a
joint venture between FN Thompson-Turner, Player Inc., and BJL
Construction Company, Inc., for the new fifty-two (52) million dollar
Fayetteville Cumberland County Coliseum.
Inspector: Analyzed and evaluated buildings according to
federal, state, and local standards, regulations and codes.
General Contractor: Responsible for supervision of employees,
coordinating work schedules, appraising project cost, and all fiscal
and financial management.
Chief Executive Officer of Financial Management: Honed expertise
for internal operations, new business development, public relations,
and financial program development.
Served on the Fayetteville Revitalization Commission Board, member of
Fayetteville Civitan Club, North Carolina Code Enforcement
Association, Fayetteville State University Endowment Association,
Fayetteville Business and Professional League, Member Omega Psi Phi
Fraternity, Inc., Outstanding Young Men of America.
